Biography

Melissa has over two decades of experience defending corporations in civil litigation in state and federal courts in transportation, catastrophic tort, product liability, employment, class action, commercial and other complex litigation. Melissa’s clients have included Fortune 50 chemical and shipping companies and a Fortune 100 defense company. In addition to her litigation practice, Melissa advises companies on various employment matters and defends companies and their employees in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies in matters alleging violation of employment laws.

Prior to founding Lock Gordon, Melissa clerked for former Chief Judge Joseph J. Farnan, Jr., of the United States District Court for the District of Delaware and worked for a large, national law firm.

Melissa is a Partner in Lock Gordon’s Philadelphia area office.
